      NO STRINGS ATTACHED EMSEMBLE GROUP

Sheila Parrish-Spence of Trilogy Poetry (front of piano) plays with a group of lawyers, judges, and legal personnel called "No Strings Attached." The group performs annually at the Milwaukee County Courthouse Christmas Carol Sing-A-Long.  Sheila plays the violin, and recited Christmas poems from our second book, Trilogy Moments for the Mind, Body and Soul.  The people absolutely loved it. Judge Victor Manian (far right) announced Sheila as Poet Laureate for the group.

Trilogy Poets Received -- Best of the Best Awards.

Jonathan Spence (son) and Sheila Parrish-Spence (mother) of Trilogy Poetry, with Carol Meekins, WTMJ4 News Anchor at the Best of the Best awards ceremony held at the Italian Center, and sponsored by The Milwaukee Community Journal Newspaper.  All three were selected and presented with the Best of the Best award.

 Classical Opera Singer Khalia Marie Hampton

Trilogy Poets, Joseph Spence and Sheila Parrish-Spence posed with classical opera singer, Khalia Marie Hampton, after her recent soloist performance in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Khalia has performed at the Botswana Independence Day celebration, Rosa Parks’s funeral, solo on Bobby Jones Gospel, and Ossie Davis's recognition at the Kennedy Center to name a few.  She also performed with the Milwaukee Florentine Opera in the Ethiopian Chorus of Aida at the Performing Arts Center.

National Award Winning Correspondent and Trilogy Poets

Trilogy poets, Sheila Parrish-Spence and Joseph Spence, Sr., pose with Nita Totenberg, National Public Radio’s award winning legal affairs correspondent at the 2006 State Bar Annual Convention.  Nita offered reflections on U. S. Supreme Court cases, issues and personalities. She is regularly on NPR and ABC.

Trilogy Poetic Team at the Great Wall of China in Beijing

Trilogy Poetic Team visited China with Jonathan, the youngest member of the team, and his high school orchestra.  The group embarked on a 10-day tour from March 24 to April 2, 2008, which entails the orchestra performing and various venues in China.  The orchestra also performed at the Great Wall of China in Beijing.  The team then proceeds to walk along the historical path after performing.
